This page best viewed while drinking a home brew.
Brewing beer is one of my favorite pastimes. The phrase life is to short for bad beer is one which I take to heart. My preference is for India Pale Ales (IPA) and Extra Special Bitters (ESB), but I can appreciate any good home or micro brew.
I started brewing in 1996 and have continued to expand my skills and knowledge. As with all home brewers I started doing extract brewing. As I got more involved in brewing I reached a crossroad. Should my next investment be in a home kegging system or all grain equipment.
I choose a home kegging system and it was the right choice. It allowed me to gain more experience in brewing and simplified my brewing. Check out my home kegging system and learn how you can build one yourself.
I am now getting ready to venture into the all grain brewing arena. As part of this I started researching equipment, techniques and tools I would need. One thing which I found lacking was a good brewing calculator which a novice could start with and could be expanded for an advanced brewer. As a result I decided to write my own and then make it available for others. So if you'd like to give it a try, complete this form.
In my wanderings on the web I've found a lot of useful brewing resources. Enter the library and check them out. |
